skateboard roots

What could be more 70's
than a long waterski skateboard.
It's like a balsa or redwood surfboard,
the hard to ride roots of skating.
Donated by our cousin Morgan,
it was obviously a little too long.
No fun having unrideable clutter.
A plan was set,
and the kids got to cutting.
And sanding...
And more sanding...
After some precision drilling,
spare parts were installed.
Slippery!
More cutting...
Tried to keep it stylish.
The longboard is super fun,
solid with the red Tracker Aggro's.
The short board is like the early tiny boards,
or the new Penny boards,
kinda small.
Still fun.
Good job kids...
