Holy Chit

A buddy works at the local church,

and asked if I could do a favor.

It was cool yet creepy 

being able to walk around an empty church.

I'll have to say that the handful of churches I've been in,

none hold back on the amount of craftsmanship 

to make a unique religious setting.

As a hand-worker 

I can understand the time and energy

needed to create these abstract pieces.

My task was not so grandiose.

Hammering out a modified candle holder.

After this they wanted a fifth candle in the center,

but I didn't get a finished shot.

No problem,

as someone else did!

Yeah Father Joe was in the way...

Still neat to see on the front page of the newspaper Xmas morning!
